And yes I am at home! It is almost one year and one month now that I have arrived from Saudi Arabia. And my life has never been so wonderful like this! Though I am still struggling to get a good offer from the many applications that I have, I can say that I have seen and really want to thank God by allowing me to see His grand purpose for me. I know I have not seen it fully but I know I am on that direction. This is really a blessing in disguise! I know that our Lord has the best plans for all of us. All we can do now is to wait. I have seen a very quotation about what is happening to me right now: it is something like this - God is not yet giving us what we asked  for because what He wants is to experience Him as of the moment. Thanks to my family and friends for keeping me sane is sometimes so harsh reality that I am  going through everyday. Yesterday..after we had visited the cemetery in the morning we had watched Thor 2 late in the afternoon courtesy of my cousin Heidi! Thanks thanks! and later last night we had to visit my grandparents a few walk away from our home in Floral Garden. And Tintin bought those pizza! One thing we had noticed in the cemetery nowaday; lots were taking photos using mobile phone and SLR! and we are guilty of it too hahaha!

At first I do not know what it is. And then someone lit a cigarette and put it in such metal thing. An ash tray. Designed to be that way as it is used in industrial spaces like in our power plant. Design. Our life. Our surroundings. Everything is according to the Grand Design? I get it from a philosophy book. But sometimes I don't care about design. We are the one designing our life. Of course with the guidance from Above if you believe. Or sometimes our very own existence designed someone else's.

Definitely the process of losing weight has its own downside since I really have to deprive myself of the amount of delicious food to take. Take note of the word amount. I am not on a diet or something but on taking minimal calories as I want to be. I am still on eating such "prohibited" foods but on a very low quantity. And guess what? I am feeling better and better each day. I thought the sun will not shine this morning. It is August month and I am expecting such heavy rains and storm but to my surprise the brightest object in the sky is radiating its heat that seems to invite me to go on a trip once again. But where? I have two in mind. Go east or go south though  north of me now. Sounds weird? It is not. I checked on my two nephews this morning and they are so busy doing some chores. Arvin is sick of seems to be chickungunya which translated into "tuko" in Tagalog language. Though similar to dengue it is not dengue and yes it is caused by mosquito too. And o...

At around 8 pm last night I was at SM-Batangas..just doing nothing but strolled around..then coffee at Starbucks..Seen my office mate - with her wife and children..nice family..then my cousin Jephren texted me..and we found ourselves at Euphoria just in front of SM..live bands..more beers, lots of chicks..more foods..beer again..talented bands but only played contemporary music..I have missed those intense and emotional bands of the 90's..most of the bands now are just "a copycat" and just played and no emotions or just nothing but played the music..I cannot get the connection..anyways but they brought the night down to our knees with their rendition of the most popular RNB and hiphop songs nowadays..

Got a mission last night. In Lipa. Got to be in Tambo at around 7:30 pm. Got there earlier.. Got the package.. then proceed to SM-Lipa..got the other package.. The rewards? These ramen..deliciously hot!

More than thirty years of having no father to celebrate at this very special moment for the "foundation" of any family..but I never take his absence not to celebrate the day with some musings and reflections and just strolling myself to pass the special day..got myself almost half of the day in SM-Batangas..looking at those father and sons enjoying the food, enjoying some exhibits.. my lunch in Chowking..loved that big mami wanton..with kangkong and milk tea too.. have watched some recitals in SM Event Center.. Got amazed by how those teens made their big moves in sync with Wii device.. playing some basketball to release some anger over Miami Heat hahahaha!! Finally dinner at Biggs..again Happy Father's Day..to my tatay Valeriano and other dads out there..I should be a father sooner..hopefully..

The recent murder of a prosecutor in Batangas stirred some eerie and scary echo to everyone. The riding in tandem has strikes again without mercy. For the money. From my ate: kilala mo ga yung napatay daw, tiyuhin ni _______ na kaopisina ko dati sa PNB.. ako: alah hindi pero taga Ilijan daw yung asawa..ah kilala ko na..pinsan nung mga Balmes.. From Limuel: kasama ko sa service last year yung anak na panganay nung napatay..sa Lasalle din napasok..nagpagawa nga ng bahay at lipatan daw next week..nakita ko na pag inihahatid namin yung daddy nung kasama ko sa service na pinatay..ang bait nun... From starbucks I've overheard; ah yun gang napatay..taga Bauan ata yun mismo pero taga rito sa Batangas City ang napangasawa..ang balita eh nahuli yung isang bumaril sa Taal ata.at tumuga about certain Mendoza daw..( undisclosed due to sensitive case).. From all over the net and facebook.."sentiments have flooded and condolences sa mga naiwan ng batang bata na prosecutor..only 40 y...

Yesterday I attended a christening of the lovely daughter of my college classmate Sally. I became ninong once again to Aaliyah Louise together with our other classmates Roselyn and Donnabel. Rico and Wend did not make it yesterday because they were in the government sector and they had this emergency case.

Yesterday as I had become ninong again..this time to Mylene's son Geof Adriel in San Isidro Batangas City..

This is not about PLDT's convergence marketing ads way back in the 90's ( I actually remember it hahaha!!) but this is how this coffee shop converged us last Wednesday in one place in one time. I had no intention of going for a cup of coffee but then my cousin Jephren ( my coffee buddy) texted me and if we can go for a drink that night. And I said yes. Then my office mate Harry also is in need of a shot of coffee that night. So we decided we could go together. And along the way I had met Jose, my high school classmate, and I invited him to join us. And so we were four with different backgrounds and ideas converged into two hours of non-stop exchanging of ideas. And it felt good to learn from different individuals who have diverse knowledge since we all came out from different schools and work. And then we have seen on the next table, our other officemates, the C&PR department, doing their usual get-together or somewhat a bonding for the group. A convergence. Imag...

You do not have to go far away place just to have such authentic Italian dining experience. Just a thirty-minute ride to Lipa and you can have the delicious pizza and pasta at Casa Marikit. Just near the San Fernando Airbase with its restaurant that really looked like an Italian in exterior and interior, you can never go wrong to have a date or just taste some slice of Italian cuisine. And of course I cannot eat well without my favorite coffee.
