Inay in America

Image
And my mother is in America for more than a week now. Thanks God for the safe flight. Thanks God for the wonderful phone and Facebook video chat we were able to see her upon her arrival there. And this is the first photo I have seen from facebook and she is looking fine there. I almost call her everyday as long as the time permits. My classmate's mother ( Jasmin - High School classmate) also went to America only last Friday and thank her for advising my mother some of the requirements needed like the PDOS. And she promised to call my mother when she get to Washington DC. It is good to know how happy my mother is when she tells some stories about the surroundings there. Bigger roads, bigger malls, disciplined people, very industrious people including my nieces and nephews. We will call her more often.

Resetting

It is like a computer. It is like an apparatus that needs a reboot to retain its functionality. A system that needs an upgrade. A life. A reset of my life. Change of priorities? Change of plans. A diversion. I guess so. Where I can find my strength I will be there. Where I can utilize my skills I should be there. Where my heart belongs I should come there. But where? When? Is it already time? Questions? So many questions yet answers are so few. Let us begin with my eyes. Do I have sore eyes? No. I just do not want to see what I am seeing now. Same people. Same place. Tired and sick of those. Change of environment. A refreshing perspective. How about my ear? Do I like what I am hearing. Pure gossips and lots of coincidences. I will never be wrong while hearing those lingering truth. I must adjust my ear. Maybe or most of the I am the one being talked about? Maybe. I will not be surprised. My ears do not lie. And my tongue? Same food. Same taste. I want some cuisine,an exotic cui...

In Decades

"I urge you, don't count in days, weeks or months. Don't even count in years. I urge you to start counting in decades. Because everything worthwhile takes time. " - Bo Sanchez - So my soul is relieved. We always take time as per minute or hour or days or years. We are always in a hurry. In an instant. But deeply reflecting on ourselves, Bo is right. We must count or determine those achievements of ours in every decade of our existence. So this is my decade countdown. On my first ten and twenty years it is mostly about my education. I have graduated my tertiary education after some struggles in schools. I have learned so much in theories that I was so eager to get into action in the real world.  And for my 20's it is really about work. It is really about my job as a starting individual in the world of reality. And I have those bites of reality in the construction industry. And I was lucky enough to have those experiences. And since I am in my middle 30's...

Still A Wonderful World

Image
I still look at the world with wonders. I still wake up every morning with hopes. I still close my eyes and knowing that the moment I open it the world is still wonderful. And then the news begins. CCTV captures all. But not the accused. The victims still struggling with all the effects that the tragedy brings to her. And then another news is heard. Israel bombs Gaza Strip. Civilian are dead. Mostly children. Investment scams are reported in Mindanao. No more money. The hard-earned money is completely gone. Damn it. How such an act of evil still prevail? and definitely will prevail forever. Still a wonderful world? The thin red line is fading away. But still I believe we can make this world a wonderful one for us and for our future's children. Despite the picture below. Our prayers for those innocent children who are caught under fire in Gaza Strip when Israel and Palestine exchanges missiles. photo courtesy of ( extremely sensitive scenes) Zheva Nakazawa

The Pen

Image
And initially I have given a pen ( not that one) as a gift to someone that I should have given ( she requested the Keilco's planner so I decided to give her a pen too). Usually I give such a wonderful pen ( known too like Parker etc) as a gift for this Yuletide season. I myself have received an expensive pen ( which I requested jokingly) and she sent it for me. And now I have bought about four of such pens. So are you the one who will receive it? Let us wait and see. Though sometimes I do not want to give it since I like it myself too hahaha!

Tiangge

I almost buy most of my gifts in advance somewhere else..
