Intuition

Yes finally I have shoot some first from my new Nikon D5100 several days ago..it was a fun exploration of the new toy. And I was still using my intuition..I really did not bother to learn as fast as I can about some in-depth lesson of photography using those technical words as aperture, shutterspeed ISO and others..I am just having fun playing and exploring what I really want in the photo that I am shooting..

I know I am still very far from my all-time favorite photographer mr Hong-An in his website http://ruinista.com/ and he is using some advance and very expensive cameras like the most beautiful and expensive Leica ( my long time dream camera!)

But for now  I will enjoy taking those photos and I have did..will post here later..

My First Week In The Desert

Literally almost all of the Saudi area is a big whole desert. Sand. Little trees. More sand and much more land of sand. Occasional seas. And lots of sun! The photo above is the almost constructed Qurayah 4000MW IPP in which we are working now together of some of my colleagues from Batangas. Our first week here? Almost the same in the Philippines? Definitely not! First was the food difference. We had to eat much of the chicken and the shawarma here. We tried Filipino food in one of the restaurant but it was not the same as in the Philippines. I am missing the Pinas now huhuhu! Second was the work. Same in the Philippines? almost the same. Much harder here? I guess not. We had Pakistani and Egyptians and Saudi nationals on our sides. Father's Day 2013

More than thirty years of having no father to celebrate at this very special moment for the "foundation" of any family..but I never take his absence not to celebrate the day with some musings and reflections and just strolling myself to pass the special day..got myself almost half of the day in SM-Batangas..looking at those father and sons enjoying the food, enjoying some exhibits.. my lunch in Chowking..loved that big mami wanton..with kangkong and milk tea too.. have watched some recitals in SM Event Center.. Got amazed by how those teens made their big moves in sync with Wii device.. playing some basketball to release some anger over Miami Heat hahahaha!! Finally dinner at Biggs..again Happy Father's Day..to my tatay Valeriano and other dads out there..I should be a father sooner..hopefully..

"NO" And I Mean It!

And I said "No". I have learned to say NO. I have learned now to tell the truth and not always go with the flow. I have to tell them I cannot do that since that's the real situation. I have learned to say No even if it is against my will but I have to since if I say Yes I will sacrifice more. I do not want to sacrifice more for the others. I have done it before and guess what's happened? I suffered some consequences. Saying No may hurt others but they have to learn to accept that. I have to stand on my own. And saying No is one of them.
