If Learning To Cook Is The Answer I Will Do It ( Thinking Again?)

Thank you Facebook but no thanks..thank you that I have seen these photos of my friends in our own country..but no thanks that I have endure the agony of not having them but just be contented in looking at them..but I have to do something..I need to learn how to cook..then? I think I will not learn unless I am that hungry and no restaurant is available..then the next question is where should I buy such ingredients? in our place here some food are limited or I haven't explore Dammam that much..

In the end I think I will just wait for December to taste those foods..barely 3 months away!

My First Week In The Desert

Literally almost all of the Saudi area is a big whole desert. Sand. Little trees. More sand and much more land of sand. Occasional seas. And lots of sun! The photo above is the almost constructed Qurayah 4000MW IPP in which we are working now together of some of my colleagues from Batangas. Our first week here? Almost the same in the Philippines? Definitely not! First was the food difference. We had to eat much of the chicken and the shawarma here. We tried Filipino food in one of the restaurant but it was not the same as in the Philippines. Father's Day 2013

More than thirty years of having no father to celebrate at this very special moment for the "foundation" of any family..but I never take his absence not to celebrate the day with some musings and reflections and just strolling myself to pass the special day..got myself almost half of the day in SM-Batangas..looking at those father and sons enjoying the food, enjoying some exhibits.. my lunch in Chowking..loved that big mami wanton..with kangkong and milk tea too.. have watched some recitals in SM Event Center.. Got amazed by how those teens made their big moves in sync with Wii device.. playing some basketball to release some anger over Miami Heat hahahaha!! Finally dinner at Biggs..again Happy Father's Day..to my tatay Valeriano and other dads out there..I should be a father sooner..hopefully..

"NO" And I Mean It!

And I said "No". I have learned to say NO. I have learned now to tell the truth and not always go with the flow. I have to tell them I cannot do that since that's the real situation. I have learned to say No even if it is against my will but I have to since if I say Yes I will sacrifice more. I do not want to sacrifice more for the others. I have done it before and guess what's happened? I suffered some consequences. Saying No may hurt others but they have to learn to accept that. I have to stand on my own. And saying No is one of them.
