Running On My Thoughts

 when I visited Alabang Town Center I have one spot that really glued my attention; The Discovery Shop and I have found some of these items ( or something like these)..and I wanted them all! so expensive..maybe one item at a time..




I decided to minimize my online presence on some social networking sites like facebook, twitter and others and concentrate more on my blogs in wordpress and blogspot..



and lastly I have begun to collect those stickers or coupons or whatever to complete the badges to get my starbucks planner 2013..quite expensive..and more coffee too..or should I say tea for now..I am beginning to embrace the power of tea..

My First Week In The Desert

Literally almost all of the Saudi area is a big whole desert. Sand. Little trees. More sand and much more land of sand. Occasional seas. And lots of sun! The photo above is the almost constructed Qurayah 4000MW IPP in which we are working now together of some of my colleagues from Batangas. Our first week here? Almost the same in the Philippines? Definitely not! First was the food difference. We had to eat much of the chicken and the shawarma here. We tried Filipino food in one of the restaurant but it was not the same as in the Philippines. I am missing the Pinas now huhuhu! Second was the work. Same in the Philippines? almost the same. Much harder here? I guess not. We had Pakistani and Egyptians and Saudi nationals on our sides. Father's Day 2013

More than thirty years of having no father to celebrate at this very special moment for the "foundation" of any family..but I never take his absence not to celebrate the day with some musings and reflections and just strolling myself to pass the special day..got myself almost half of the day in SM-Batangas..looking at those father and sons enjoying the food, enjoying some exhibits.. my lunch in Chowking..loved that big mami wanton..with kangkong and milk tea too.. have watched some recitals in SM Event Center.. Got amazed by how those teens made their big moves in sync with Wii device.. playing some basketball to release some anger over Miami Heat hahahaha!! Finally dinner at Biggs..again Happy Father's Day..to my tatay Valeriano and other dads out there..I should be a father sooner..hopefully..

Not Only For The Money

After several weeks of working with different nationalities and be a friend to them, somehow I get some meaningful conversation with them. We talked about our backgrounds, experiences among others. And ultimately why we have come here. And I've got a not so surprising answer: for the MONEY! as one Indian has said. Literally it was true. But for me, I work not for the money. For the pleasure for having it,what to gain from it. Experiences will be enriched if you have the financial resources to go on some travel and vacation. So definitely there's more to life than to say literally to work for the money. I am enjoying the stay here by means of money and I really appreciate discovering new experiences and people and place in this wonderful city of Dammam and the other suburbs nearby.
