french baker reminds me of my struggling but fulfilling years in PT&T (in Cash and Carry). That's why now when I want to relax in the middle of a busy weekend, we'd go to French Baker (Nuvali) and we'd quietly enjoy their muffins, pasta and coffee. it's a great moment to be in a place that has been a part of a colorful past. thank you for including French Baker.
More than thirty years of having no father to celebrate at this very special moment for the "foundation" of any family..but I never take his absence not to celebrate the day with some musings and reflections and just strolling myself to pass the special day..got myself almost half of the day in SM-Batangas..looking at those father and sons enjoying the food, enjoying some exhibits.. my lunch in Chowking..loved that big mami wanton..with kangkong and milk tea too.. have watched some recitals in SM Event Center.. Got amazed by how those teens made their big moves in sync with Wii device.. playing some basketball to release some anger over Miami Heat hahahaha!! Finally dinner at Biggs..again Happy Father's Day..to my tatay Valeriano and other dads out there..I should be a father sooner..hopefully..

It brings back memories of my 80's where some of my friend's father were in Saudi Arabia and they had this wonderful device. And I am never seeing this one now. Just in photos. Just like in a last corner before our flat here in Dammam there is this advertisement in the old building and it is for rent now. Do you know what is it before? It is an international cabin spot - short for a telephone booth in the 80's and the 90's where OFW should wait in line just to have those precious minutes of talking to their family at the other end of the line miles and miles away in the Philippines. And now it is just a click away. Some photos seem to bring us flashes of memories from our past. Looking at the photo which is an abandoned railway somehow bring me to that late 80's or early 90's where I have remembered Oscar. He is a real person but I'd rather not say if it is his rea...
